The Exotic Technologies Institute
Grants for the New Apollo The New Apollo Project is a $300 billion, public-private program to create three million new, clean
energy jobs to free America from foreign oil dependence in ten years. It is a program that reinvests in the competitiveness
of American industry, rebuilds our cities, creates good jobs for working families, and ensures good stewardship of both the
economy and our natural environment. The name is homage to President John F. Kennedy’s Apollo Project, which put a man
on the moon in under ten years. he new Apollo Project calls for a bold leadership vision, strong public action, and a
shared national commitment to pressing challenges Seventeen of America's largest labor unions (representing over 10 million
working men and women) have endorsed the ten-point plan, and the Presidents of the Sierra Club and NRDC have written
letters of support for the effort. The Apollo Alliance will seek endorsements from business, labor, political, civil rights,
environmental, faith, and community The Apollo Alliance polling shows that 72 percent of voters support the call for
a $300 billion new Apollo Project. Clean energy is no longer just "an environmental program." It is the best way for America
to revitalize its economy. The United States of America has lost three million jobs since January 2001. That's the worst rate
of job loss since the Great Depression in the USA. To solve our American economic crisis we need more than short-term
stimulus -- we need to invest in the growing global markets of the future. America needs to rebuild the infrastructure
of our communities. America needs to increase the efficiency and productivity of their economy as we preserve good jobs at
home. New investment in energy independence for America can do all this. Does the current alternative energy
markets have environment conscious consumers. Let us consider value of the solar power market to the environment. Like any
other form of alternative energy technology solar energy devices can reduce pollution in the environment. Solar power is a
technology that American companies invented with the help of the federal government. Over the last five years the Japanese
increased their share of the global market for solar energy from 25 to 50 percent. Solar energy is a technology America invented.
Where as Japan and Europe have invested heavily in these new technologies, guaranteeing their success in the market, we have
let these technologies race ahead of us. Today European companies control 90 percent of the wind turbine production.
Imagine:
1. Retooling abandoned factories to create new energy technology like windmills, solar panels, and hydrogen
fuel cells.
2. helping existing plants stay open by encouraging new investments in high performance capital equipment
and worker training.
3. The American auto industry leading the world in developing the next generation of advanced technology hybrid
and hydrogen cars.
4. Putting hundreds of thousands of men and women to work installing and maintaining solar panels on every
new home, office and government building.
5. Employing hundreds of thousands more Americans retrofitting old buildings to become more energy efficient.
6. Building a new generation of public infrastructure from mass transit and high-speed rail, to hydrogen distribution,
to a modernized electrical grid.
7. Conserving billions of dollars of taxpayer and ratepayer
money through increased efficiency, protecting consumers, workers, and the environment.
A clean energy future means greater prosperity, security and health. The new Apollo Project is a way to save the American
auto industry, which is currently losing market share to the Japanese who have innovated higher efficiency vehicles. A new
Apollo Project would require the current President and the next President
to bring together industry, labor and environmental leaders to work out a strategy that is a win-win-win for business, workers
and the environment. A major investment in the industry is key to helping American automakers make the transition to higher
efficiency cars and trucks while protecting working families and increasing our global competitiveness. Right now, workers in the coal and oil industries are vulnerable. Mechanization
of the coal industry and fuel switching has resulted in thousands of coal miners losing their jobs. Working people in the
domestic oil industry are also at risk of being left behind the clean energy markets of the future. Right now, America has
no strategy to help working families navigate changes in the energy economy. A new Apollo Project will invest strategically
and boldly in clean energy jobs for workers in the coal and oil industries. The new Apollo project is a strategic investment
that will both pay for itself and help reduce the deficit. create over four
times as many jobs as tax cuts and generate large returns on investment. In the 1950s the federal government spent billions
of dollars building the interstate highway system. It was a project crucial to sustaining economic growth and insuring our
national security. And in the 1960s the Defense Department created the Internet and guaranteed the market for microchips,
an investment that led directly to the electronics revolution. Some projects are simply too big and too strategic for the
private sector to do alone. Apollo Alliance strategy is to build a national and grassroots alliance between businesses, labor
unions, environmental groups, and urban leaders, mobilizing the public, and eventually passing legislation through Congress.
The new Apollo Alliance strategy is to build national support before backing legislation. Nonetheless, they are inspired by
Rep. Inslee's leadership in bringing together his colleagues to push for the creation of good energy jobs and for an end to
our foreign oil dependence. Rep. Gephardt has called for a $200 billion investment in clean energy jobs to achieve energy
independence. Sen. Kerry has called for a $44 billion investment and higher fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks
to reduce foreign oil dependenceThe known oil money resources have been providing finances to the known terrorist networks.
Because oil money can be controlled by a small handful of powerful individuals, including large oil companies, America will
remain vulnerable to political instability in their local area for as long as we remain dependent on its oil. The oil producers
has the potential to be a major producer and exporter of hydrogen, which automakers and energy companies alike agree will
be the dominant fuel of the next energy economy. The most benign method of creating hydrogen is through electrolysis —
putting electricity into water and extracting hydrogen gas. The electricity to power hydrogen production could come from wind
and sunlight — resources that are especially abundant in the area of the world. The Apollo Alliance doesn’t need
to end all imports of foreign oil. The Apollo Alliance just needs to end our dependence on foreign oil. The Apollo Alliance
can achieve that goal by making strategic investments in new technologies, including hybrid and hydrogen cars, backed up by
strong standards of efficiency.
8. The new Apollo Project will improve national security by reducing dependence on oil from unstable and undemocratic
governments, by investing in a resilient energy system, and by supporting new renewable distributed generation. The new Apollo
Project will also revitalize the economy, expanding markets for American technology, investing in workers, and improving competitiveness
and productivity, even as it protects consumers and the environment. Unlike tax cuts that reward those least in need, or offshore
tax havens that siphon investment capital over seas, an aggressive plan for energy independence will directly channel money
to the purchase of durable goods.
It will stimulate needed investment in manufacturing capacity, and it will rebuild our neglected public infrastructure.
It will close the growing technology gap with our foreign competitors, and generate good jobs for working families. The new
Apollo Project will create well over 3 million high wage jobs in construction, manufacturing, and industrial machinery by
2015, building new and efficient infrastructure and accelerating the next generation of cutting edge technology. Those jobs
will pour $95 billion back into the economy through new income, and $330 billion in additional economic output, and helps
provide needed assistance to state and local governments. It is time to reinvest in America, it is time to rebuild.
We must do it, not because it is easy, but because it is hard and necessary. The new Apollo Alliance has received the support
of environmental organizations, labor unions, businesses and civil rights and community advocates. The new Apollo Alliance
has received letters of support from the presidents of several major environmental organizations, including:
9. Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)
10. The Sierra Club
The new Apollo Alliance's Ten Point Plan has received the endorsement
of 17 major labor unions representing over 10 million workingmen and women, including:
1. Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU)
2. American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)
3. International Association of Machinists (IAM)
4. International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)
5. International Union of Electrical Workers (IUE-CWA)
6. Paper and Allied Chemical Employees (PACE)
7. Service Employees International Union (SEIU)
8. Sheet Metal Workers International Association (SMWIA)
9. Transportation Workers Union (TWU)
10. United Automobile and Aerospace Workers (UAW)
11. United Mine Workers of America (UMWA)
12. Union of Needle trades Industrial and Textile Employees (UNITE!)
13. United Steel Workers of America (USWA)
The
new Apollo Project has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO Industrial Union Council (IUC) through a unanimous resolution,
in addition to many of the unions listed above, the IUC includes:
1. Bakery Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers
2. Graphic Communications Industrial Union (GCIU)
3. International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT)
4. United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW)
The new Apollo Alliance is currently building endorsements and advisory committees that include strong voices
from the civil rights and faith communities, as well as socially responsible and high tech businesses. What can the Exotic
Technologies Institute for the new Apollo Alliance? There are three potential activities that can be taken by the Exotic Technologies
Institute. The Exotic Technologies Institute can ask the management of the Apollo
Alliance to consider using our foundation as means to collect the money for the Apollo Alliance. If the Apollo Alliance says
its okay we will collect money from the general public and private industry for their national pro-alternative energy technology
program. The money will be turned into a source of grants by the private industry for the creation of local pro-hydrogen infrastructures
projects, protypes, pilot plants, nation wide pro-hydrogen infrastructures products and hydrogen production R&D projects.
There are several large corporations and small-scale companies that have invested in alternative energy technology. Over a
ten-year period the Exotic Technologies Institute will try to collect minimum of $3 billion dollars for the Apollo Alliance.
If it possible the Exotic Technologies Institute will try to collect up to $30 billion dollars as maximum limit. That’s
one percent to ten percent of the aforementioned $300 billion dollars. The entire
world of foundations has more than $37 billion dollars per year. Large private industry has made large sum of money over the years. For example
a company that can join the ranks of the Fortune 500 companies they must have not less than one billion dollars. That’s
means the total amount of assists and money for the Fortune 500 must be lager than $500 billion dollars. Therefore these 500
companies and the Foundation Center are excellent places to start looking for funding grants and seed money for the Exotic
Technologies Institute. The actual amount is more likely closer to one trillion dollars. Esmond Gary Dean is the inventor
of Sea Water Element Separation System. The invention called Sea Water Element Separation System can provide global scale
clean water resources and a global scale hydrogen based fossil replacement. The
aforementioned invention can provide materials such as silicon dioxide sands. The silicon dioxide sands can be converted into
silicon and oxygen. The silicon can be converted into mass produced solar energy devices, and mass produced electronics. At the same time hydrogen and oxygen found in water can be used to create large-scale
rocket propellants production. The large-scale rocket propellant production alone can bring down the cost of space flight
by 100 fold. Therefore Esmond Gary
Dean” inventions can have positive effects on the global environment, the creation of
alternative energy based national economy and the goals of the Apollo Alliance. The invention can be processed seawater
then place different materials into storage units. The invention can further process clean water into a new global scale hydrogen
based fossil fuel replacement. The global scale fossil fuel replacement can be used to replace oil dependence with partial
energy independence. Besides the current high price of hydrogen and alternative energy infrastructures are powerful cost barriers to creating a nation embracing alternative energy devices and energy independence.
With or without the assistance of the Apollo Alliance and other organizations the Exotic Technologies Institute can still
collect grant money for his inventions from other foundations, private corporations and rich individuals.Once Esmond Gary
Dean has created a business to promote his inventions the Exotic Technologies Institute can provide grants to the business
itself. This business will called the Exotic Technologies Industries. The grants shall be used for additional research and
development funding, seed budget, operating budget, land acquisition grants, pilot plants and protypes for Exotic Technologies
Industries. The land acquisition grant will be used to buy real estate. The real estate search will include properties with
and without buildings. The real estate can be used for offices and think tank facilities for large-scale personnel and expansion
plans. Where possible the Exotic Technologies Institute will use its land acquisition properties, grants and other resources
to help Esmond Gary Dean with his inventions, music and film projects
